We rely on the outstanding hospitality of our volunteers for nearly every performance. Volunteering at The Woodward Opera House is a rewarding way to give back to your community and see performances for free!
Positions available would be Greeters, Ushers, Ticket Takers, Will Call Attendant and other behind the scenes tasks.

I’m a new volunteer, what do I need to know for my first event?
The most important thing is to bring a welcoming SMILE! We want every patron to feel special and you play a key role in making that happen!
Please arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your first event time to allow for training before patrons start arriving.Please meet in the KPAC office on the second floor.

Dress Code is designed so that our patrons can easily identify who is on our volunteer team and appropriately represent The Woodward Opera House. Please observe our simple dress code by wearing black pants, white shirt (not revealing) and black shoes (without logos). Not allowed are t-shirts, jeans, mini-skirts, athletic apparel, athletic shoes or hats.
